Thermomix & Air Fryer

Sun-dried tomatoes in an airfryer

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Handful of cherry tomatoes (for larger tomatoes - see Tip)
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt

Method

To ‘sun-dry’ tomatoes quickly in your airfryer, rub them with a little olive oil and salt cook them at 130C for 60 mins until they are starting to shrivel, then at 100C for 40 mins. (NB: You may need to use the Bake function in order to be able to set the temperature as low as 130C. The standard function on my Cosori machine only goes down to 150C)

Use the 'sun-dried' in recipes like my Quick Tomato Chutney

A Cook's Plot Tip

If using larger tomatoes, cut them into quarters so each piece is roughly the size of a cherry tomato.
